About

The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.
-Carl Rogers

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker practicing virtually in MA, working with adults and teens. I have extensive experience working in acute psychiatric hospital settings. I was psychodynamically trained at Smith College School for Social Work where I received my MSW. From my work in the field, I was introduced to Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and believe this practice empowers all individuals to gain more control and insight into everyday actions and emotions with tangible skills for RIGHT NOW. My goal is to understand your pain and support you so that you can shine, because you’re worth it. We all are.

I help adults and teens create the life they want to have. For some that means finding a strong voice; for others that means healing wounds; and for many it means learning to celebrate and honor the person you are without shame or judgment. I believe we are all inherently doing the best we can and sometimes we are not reaping the rewards of our labor, therefore a change is needed. Together we can minimize the suffering and explore your roadmap for empowerment. You got this!

Sometimes all the insight in the world doesn't change your life. Using a combination of cognitive and dialectical techniques, we can understand how and why you tick AND come up with tangible steps towards the life you’ve always wanted and perhaps that’s seemed just beyond your reach.
