Comprehensive DBT vs these skills groups:

  • Comprehensive DBT typically recommends weekly individual DBT therapy, 2-2.5 hour weekly skills group which is repeated for 1 year, 24/7 access to coaching calls and clinicians are required to participate in a DBT consultation team of trained individuals.

  • These groups offer exposure to the DBT curriculum, however is not treating a mental health diagnosis. It is important to secure additional support outside the psychoeducational format of these groups if necessary. 

  • These groups are open enrollment and include all genders in a virtual setting.
